WELCOME TO WINTER IN PARRSBORO

The colourful days of autumn have now passed and we look forward to winter and the many opportunities for indoor and outdoor activities that the colder weather presents.  The artificial ice surface is in place at the Lions Arena where public skating, figure skating and hockey are ongoing.  Snowmobiling, cross country skiiing and tobogganing are also exciting pastimes. 

Our well-lighted Main Street decorated with snowflakes and reindeer welcomes shoppers to our unique shops, restaurants and other attractions.  The Works Department does an exceptional job keeping our streets and sidewalks clear for easy access.  Take a drive and experience the beauty of surrounding rural landscapes and seascapes.  There is so much to see and do even at this time of year.
