Strategic Plan

In the fall of 2006, the Town Council of Parrsboro indicated a need for a Strategic Plan in order to ensure future prosperity and sustainable growth for the Town. This plan would complement the Municipal Planning Strategy which was prepared for the Town in May 2007. These planning activities are intended to give Parrsboro clear direction and guidance with regards to future growth and development, and more specifically, direction in relation to the significant Tidal Power Project that is in the planning and development stages. As with any Strategic Plan this is to be considered a "living document" which may require periodic revisions as part of the ongoing monitoring process. The Strategy is intended to serve as a guide to ensure the efforts of the community are focused and provide maximum benefit relevant to the Vision Statement. The Strategic Plan (287.36 kB) was approved by Town Council at a meeting held on November 25th, 2008.
