This year marks the 45th annual Nova Scotia Gem and Mineral Show and Sale.  Parrsboro's Rockhound Roundup is one of the oldest mineral shows in Canada and in terms of sheer enjoyableness, it's considered to be the top!  More than 30 exhibitors from Ontario, Quebec, the Maritimes and Maine offer a broad mix of earth treasures.  You'll see fine mineral specimens, jewellery and jewellers supplies and precious stones and gem cutting tools, beads and beading tools, fossils, tumbled stones and more.
Location: Lion's Rec. Centre, Western Avenue, Parrsboro, N.S.

Admission is $3 per person(children under 12 free if with an adult) Show hours 10am - 7pm Friday and Saturday, 10am - 5 pm on Sunday.
