Cops for Cancer@Springhill Community Centre

Cumberland Cops for Cancer Head Shave.  Have you ever wondered what your favourite cop, prison guard, EMT worker or bylaw enforcement officer would look like bald?  Here's your chance to find out.  Our police and their local partners will be taking it all off-the tops of their head, that is!  October 15th, 2016 at the Dr. Carson & Marion Murray Community Centre Arena, 6 Main St., Springhill, NS.  All proceeds go to The Lodge That Gives, located in the Canadian Cancer Society's Sobey Cancer Support Centre in Halifax.  The Lodge is available to anyone in Nova Scotia who is receiving cancer treatment in Halifax where they stay free of charge with meals provided at no cost.  It is used by many Cumberland residents who travel to Halifax for cancer treatment.

Schedule:

8:00am-10:30am - Pancake Breakfast - $10 adults, $6 children under 12

10:30am - Haircuts and Head Shaves

12 noon - BBQ & Softball Games
