Clearwing Hummingbird Moths
Time: 1:00pm at the Fundy Geological Museum
Place: We will travel by car caravan to Pettigrew Settlement, about 3km up the Boar's Back Road (16 km north of Parrsboro).
What we will do: We will explore a wild patch of dogbane in bloom which attracts a wide variety of insects and sometimes tree frogs that dine on these insects. Most interesting is the Clearwing Hummingbird Moths that hover to sip nectar from these flowers.
