Spring Bird Migration. Meet at the Fundy Geological Museum at 10:00am for this family oriented event. We will travel by car caravan to Macaan Wildlife Management Area where we will walk through a hardwood stand, across the beaver pond, and alongside the Maccan River. We will observe 7 or 8 species of migrating warblers that have flown here all the way from South America. Also of interest are two active Bald Eagle nests, spring wildflowers, dragonflies emerging from the beaver pond: Length of event: 1/2 hour drive to Maccan; 1 1/2 hours walk in the forest and along the pond and river. 1/2 hour drive back to Parrsboro.
