Painting in situ: Parrsboro 2015@Main & Station (Sat. 29 Aug, 2015 9:00 am)

"Seven artists - seven days, one environment" - Nonesuch Kickshaws announces "Painting in situ: Parrsboro 2015, happening on the Parrsborough Shore.  This is a Nonesuch collaboration between Artists and Main & Station.  The artists are Susan Paterson, Susan Tooke, Richard Rudnicki, Bill Rogers, Judith Bauer, Leonard Paul and Joy Laking.

  • From August 14th to 20th the artists may be found painting on location in and around Parrsboro.
  • The week of outdoor painting will finish with a "Painting in situ" Exhibition Opening & sale at Main & Station on Friday, August 21st at 7:00pm.  All of the paintings done in the previous week, unframed, and some unfinished, will be on display.
  • The exhibition will continue until September 9th, 2015.

Dragonflies are Migrating

  • Time:  We will meet at 10:00am at the Fundy Geological Museum for this family oriented event.
  • Place:  We will travel by car caravan to Diligent River Bog Pond, 10 km west of Parrsboro.
  • What we will do:  We will observe the big blue darners and the smaller red meadowhawks with white noses.
  • Length of event:  1.5 hours.

Location:  Ottawa House Museum.  Blueberry desserts served daily from 11:00am-5:00pm.
